To Loughborough Rail Station and taxi to the Abbey (easiest method), or alternatively, by bus from Loughborough Market Place to Whitwick Market Place and then by taxi or walk to the Abbey. Trains leave from London St Pancras Mainline Station
- To Leicester and then by bus from St Margaret’s bus station to Coalville Memorial Square and then taxi, (or Whitwick Market Place and walk / taxi).
- To Loughborough and then by bus to the Market Place and walk / taxi to the Abbey.
Travelling from either the NORTH or the SOUTH on the M1: leave at junction 23 (not 23A); take the A512 towards Ashby and at the second set of traffic lights turn left (the Abbey is sign-posted); and then at the second cross-roads turn right into Oaks Road. The Abbey is 500 yards on your left.
Travelling from the WEST on the A42 (M): leave at A511 junction for Coalville/Leicester; turn left at the second roundabout, follow the road through Whitwick, and then at the first junction cross over and keep straight on for a mile or so until you come to the Abbey on your right.
Travelling from the NORTH-WEST: leave M6 at junction 15 taking the A500 and look for A50 Uttoxeter /Derby. Follow A50 until the M1 then head south leaving at junction 23, thereafter following directions from M1 (above).
